What does the role of Sous Chef entail?

Here you will have a very important task at the hotel by ensuring a world-class guest experience when it comes to our food and beverage environments. Your main tasks are to plan, prepare, and cook food as well as present the food in an appealing way. You will also support and help the team in other parts of the hotel as needed. You lead and distribute the work and manage staffing during your shift. If needed, you will have the opportunity to train new employees and also relieve the Head Chef of certain administrative tasks such as daily routines, orders, menu planning, handling of raw materials, self-control, and daily planning.

Who are you?

To fit in this role, you need to have a burning passion for food and be attentive to details and guests' individual needs. You are structured and take great responsibility, appreciating order and tidiness, both in your own and your colleagues' work. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. For this position, we want you to have completed culinary training and have several years of experience as both a chef and a leader. Personal qualities and attitude are the most important for this recruitment. To fit in this role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
